Peter Grayson

Managing Director & Founder

Peter co-founded Geo in 1995 with a simple goal: to use design to help people. From his very first college project - a moveable arm support that accelerated rehabilitation for patients - to iconic products spanning scaffolding safety blocks, household doorbells, plug sockets, toys, and even commuter trains and buses, Peter has always sought to make a real difference through design. With over 40 years of experience, he combines creativity, engineering expertise, and a human-centred approach to help clients turn ideas into products that improve lives.

Luke Grayson

Senior Designer

Luke grew up immersed in design, spending summer holidays in Geo’s studios and taking apart products to understand how they worked. This hands-on curiosity, paired with a natural engineering intuition, drives his approach today: blending creativity with technical precision to create products that function flawlessly. Passionate about motorsport and tinkering with cars, Luke brings the same energy and attention to detail to every project, ensuring that ideas don’t just look good - they work beautifully in the real world.

Our Story

Founded in 1995 by Peter Grayson and Jeremy Offer, Geo was built on a shared belief that great design doesn’t end with a concept - it begins with a conversation, and it’s realised through engineering excellence. Both founders came from leading Industrial Design consultancies, united by a vision to embrace the emerging digital design revolution.

From the very beginning, Geo was an early adopter of 3D CAD and CAID tools such as SDRC I-DEAS and Alias, investing heavily in Silicon Graphics technology to deliver what was then cutting-edge digital design and surfacing capability. This early integration of design and engineering set Geo apart - helping us build long-term partnerships with some of the world’s leading OEMs, many of whom still collaborate with us today.

As the design landscape evolved, so did we. Through the 2000s, Geo expanded its expertise beyond industrial design and into full product realisation - developing in-house prototyping, CNC machining, and 3D printing facilities to support rapid, high-quality development.

Under the leadership of Peter Grayson, Geo matured into a full-service Industrial Design Engineering consultancy, bridging the gap between design vision and production reality. By uniting creativity with deep technical understanding, we enable our clients to move confidently from early concept through to prototyping, testing, validation, and full-scale manufacturing.

Passing the tourch onto the next generation, Luke Grayson brings a new energy and perspective to the business. Geo is stronger than ever, using the expertise and knowledge of decades of real-world experience. Together, Peter and Luke continue to build on Geo’s legacy - combining experience, innovation, and a genuine passion for design that works in the real world.

Our Ethos

At Geo, Industrial Design means more than creating something beautiful - it means designing with people at the centre of every decision. We consider everyone who interacts with the product: the manufacturer, the assembler, the end user, and the company that sells it.

Our process is collaborative, open, and grounded in conversation. We believe the best products are born from shared understanding - not ego - and we work closely with clients to find practical, elegant solutions that make a lasting impact.

We don’t just deliver designs; we deliver confidence. Confidence that your product will work, look right, feel right, and perform in the real world every time.
